Go To Assist

Go To Assist is a tool which we have begun to use recently with clients.  The program allows us to access clients machines remotely.  This means that, with your permission, we can control your machine from anywhere with an Internet connection.  If we ever needed to access your machine remotely you will need to follow the below steps.

  1. Firstly you will need to open up your web browser and visit the website ‘www.fastsupport.com
  2. Then you will need to place your name in the box and the support key which we will supply you with.  (Click on image to make it larger)

  3. Click ‘Connect Now’
  4. After you’ve clicked ‘Connect Now’ you will see a starting support session page (see below).  This means that the remote access/support system is loading.    If you have the software on your machine skip to step 10.  If you don’t have a copy of the software click ‘Manually download the software’ and follow all steps.  (Double click on Image to make it larger).

  5. Click ‘Download Software’ (Click on image to make it larger)

  6. Download the file.
  7. Open the file.
  8. Click Run (Click on image to make it larger)

  9. Enter your name and support key in the black box.

  10. You will then get a session request from Brandstar.  The request will look like the image below.  Check the request is from ‘Graham Martin’ and then click ‘Yes’ to confirm and allow the session to begin.

  11. The below box may appear on the screen.  This is the control panel between you and the person accessing your machine.

  12. If you wish to communicate with us click chat and start typing.  Everything you say will appear as ‘Customer’

Some clients have found their firewall causes them some problems.  If this happens to you make sure you allow the Go To Assist program if an allert appears on your screen.
