Laptop vs Desktop
January 24, 2009 – 11:43 amSo often we are asked ‘what’s better, a Laptop or Desktop?’ The answer will always depend on what you intend to use it for, here are a few positives and negatives of each:
Laptops:
- Laptops are portable so you don’t have to use the machine in the office
- Laptops are a lot smaller than Desktops, therefore they can be hidden more easily when you go on holiday etc
- Laptops are often styled by their manufacturer and can look pretty cool
- Laptops are generally more expensive than Desktops because they are smaller
Desktops:
- Desktops work out cheaper
- Desktops generally have bigger screens
- Generally easier to fix if they go wrong
- Desktops are difficult to take on holiday or on trips
- Desktops generally don’t look as stylish as Laptops
