Brandstar Uk in 2008 – Happy New Year!

Well 2008 is just about underway, some of us still recovering from all the festivities I am sure, and undoubtedly the diets
will begin shortly 
I thought I would write a post with what to expect from Brandstar in 2008, some new and some of it already underway but worth shouting about!
Firstly something new, well revived anyway. www.PCToolbox.co.uk will be a Brandstar Technical Blog, much like this one but rather than company news and some posts specific to Brandstar clients there will be a much wider range of information posted there! So keep an eye on that – Powered by WordPress!
Dell Computer Systems – following a successful year in 2007 recommending and supplying Dell computers to Home and Business clients alike we have built up an excellent relationship with Dell and are very familiar with all their products, knowing where the different ranges are best suited!
Microsoft Windows Vista – It is no secret that we are big Microsoft fans at Brandstar and have been using Windows Vista since it’s release and the beta versions for even longer. With most of the new machines we supply we will be recommending an appropriate version of Vista and for anyone wanting to upgrade we will be here to offer advice, supply the software and perform the upgrade.
Microsoft Office 2007 – Again here at Brandstar we love the new Office 2007 and have been using it since the Beta was released and haven’t even contemplated reverting to 2003! In 2008 we will be encouraging those that will benefit from the advantages of Office 07 to upgrade appropriately. For Mac users Office 2008 is expected later this month!
Small Business Server 2003 – 2007 saw Brandstar take a big step forward in the Small Business Server Market and in 2008 we will continue to move forward with the solutions we are offering to complement this excellent server operating system as well as continue testing Server 2008 which is due to for release early this year.
Continue offering the fantastic service we have done since 2006!
